At the Sony X AI AgTech Challenge, we built a first-place Raspberry Pi camera prototype for detecting weeds in the field and mapping dense areas in software, helping growers target pesticide usage instead of blanket spraying.
What I did
- Built the Raspberry Pi camera vision system.
- Built the weed detection to heat map data pipeline.
- Researched grower viability and go-to-market.
- Won first place.
